The Eurovision Song Contest, often simply called "Eurovision", is the longest-running annual international TV song competition. It has been held, primarily, among the member countries of the European Broadcasting Union since 1956, when the first took place. HOW DOES THE CONTEST WORK? Countries from all over Europe, -and a few from outside Europe-, send a song and performer/s to sing in the contest. Each country can have a maximum of six people in their act, and the song must be no longer than three minutes and not released before 1st September 2017 . Everybody has to sing live, but no live instruments are allowed. Most countries need to sing in one of the two semi-finals to gain a place in the grand final. The UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy (called the 'big five') all go straight through to the final as they give the most money to the EBU. The previous year's winner (Salvador Sobral - Amar Pelos Dois) also goes straight through - so that is Portugal this year. The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest is decided by all of the countries involved, with each nation getting to award points to the other countries that they want to win. The scoring is based on a mix of viewer votes and the opinions of a music expert jury. Once all of the acts have sung, voting is opened for about 15 minutes either by phone, text or an app. Viewers can vote up to twenty times, but cannot vote for the country they are voting from, in order to keep it fair. The most points that can be awarded to a country is the famous douze points - or 12 points. At the end of the grand final, the winner is the one with the most points once everything is added together. They will perform their song once more and get to take home the iconic glass microphone Eurovision trophy. I had heard about EUROVISION before, but I did not know what the contest consists of, until this year due to the selection procedure of Spain. The song is chosen from the finalist of the musical reality show "OPERACION TRIUNFO" (THAT I PERSONALLY LOVE, THAT'S WHY IM ROOTING FOR SPAIN THIS TIME). I was shocked when I found that ABBA and Céline Dion are known for participating, and they both started successful worldwide careers after their wins at EUROVISION contest, I realized the BIG influence and importance of the competition to europe. I LOVE music, so i really support this massive festivals, because it's not all about football, and sports, there MUST be space for music. Although the festival is known for promoting pop music, in recent years, several themes from other genres have been presented at the festival, such as dance, tango, reggaeton, heavy metal, pop-rap, punk, rock and electronica. THE GRAND FINAL IS TODAYY AT 20:00 IN BBC, YOU MUST WATCH IT!!! :)

The Voice Chile 2015

The Voice is a reality television singing competition franchise. A lot of countries have adapted the format and began airing their own versions since 2011. It has become a rival to the Idols franchise, and The X Factor, but for me, the voice is my favorite and the best. The show's format features four stages of competition. The first is the blind auditions, in which the four coaches, listen to the contestants in chairs facing opposite the stage so as to avoid seeing them. If a coach likes what they hear, they press a button to rotate their chairs to signify that they are interested in working with him or her. If more than one coach presses their button, the contestant chooses the coach he or she wants to work with. The blind auditions end when each coach has a set number of contestants to work with. (in Chile, 24) The contestants who successfully pass the blind auditions proceed to the battle rounds, where the coaches put two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience. After the vocal face-off, the coach must choose only one to advance. The winners of the battle rounds proceed to the knockout rounds. Coaches pick 3 groups of 4, of their own team members to compete against each other. This time, the contestants choose their own song to perform individually while the other watches and waits. After that, the coach chooses one to advance while the other is sent home. Finally, the strongest members of each coach's roster proceed to the live stage shows. The Voice Chile , began a few weeks ago and it was really surprising to me. I've seen United States’s versions , and they have many AMAZING singers , so I thought that Chile wouldn’t be at their level. I was wrong, the program quality is very good, with unique voices. It’s good for my country that they are giving importance to music and art, the only important things isn’t sports, politics and showbiz.

Winchester Mystery Mansion

The Winchester Mansion is a mansion located in San Jose, California. Today the mansion is used as a tourist attraction, named Winchester Mystery Mansion. It’s also known as the most scary place in the United States. His construction is meaningless, completely defies the architectural standard. The property measures 24,000 m², the hallways are infinite, has 7 floors, 160 rooms that have been found , 476 doors, 6 kitchens, 47 fireplaces, 100.000 windows, 2 basements, false walls, hidden attics, doors and windows meaningless that lead nowhere and an unclassified amount of secret passages. The lady widow of the place, Sarah Winchester was a very rich woman, but she was into dark things. After the death of her daughter Annie in 1866 and her husband in 1881, Sarah decides to look for a medium; she’ll confirm that house was full of spirits, and her family under a curse. If the owner of the house, stopped building it, from inside and outside, will die.I don’t know if the idea was to build a maze to confuse the ghosts, but access is limited to the mansion. If you jump the security fences, and enter the property alone, and you lose, isn’t guaranteed to find you. Footprints have been reported, hitting, screams inside the house, finding their weird origin.

Broadway Avenue, along with the Fifth Avenue, the most famous street in Manhattan, is characterized by cross Times Square,

and be a reference point for 19 theaters that make up the Broadway circuit. Of the nineteen, only two of them are physically on

Broadway, and the rest is two or three blocks of the same. It is currently the most cost avenue in the world to rent or buy property.

The vast majority of the works presented here are musical, including Wicked, Les Miserables, Chicago, The Lion King, Mamma Mia,
Funny Girl and many more.
Prominent figures of cinema and showbiz have performances on Broadway, as my favorite, Barbra Streisand,
appreciated mainly for its powerful and unique voice, is the female singer who has sold more albums in the United States.
Broadway is the dream of many people, like me, one of my biggest dreams is to meet new york and go or participate in a musical there,
being there would be a great blessing, I know that something a little difficult, but with effort,  all can.
